Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. The music she grew up with was traditional Boleros from the past and the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana loves tangos and opera, along with any dramatic performance. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, then began more intense singing training at the age of 16 with renowned Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young within Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups as well as choruses. When she moved from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties singing the traditional Latin American Music. She has been involved with a number of local projects, both as a teacher and performer because of her enthusiasm of music and art. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, through her sharing her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially for the young generation to keep this tradition alive.
