Ky-Mani Marley was an established Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most successful. He appeared in Shottas, a cult film opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records for his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son album and singles such as Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the most popular song on the British reggae chart) and"Who The Cap" (remix), Sensimelia and others all contributed to the growing recognition of his new generation reggae music. In 1997, Ky-Mani formed a band together with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue a hit cover version from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a part of the Midem event (an international music festival), which was first performed in Miami. Marley performed on the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcast to other 36 nations. Marley's name became the topic of a bidding war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Records, where in 1997, he collaborated with P.M. Dawn on the single Gotta Be Movin On Up. Bob Marley's spouse Anita Belnavis, a table tennis champion herself is his sole parent. Ky-Mani was born in Jamaica and is one of the most well-known Reggae singers.
